1. Acceptance of terms

By using HostMyPage ("the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. The service is operated by Lars Willrich, Wallisellen, Switzerland.

2. Description of service

HostMyPage provides free static website hosting. Users can upload HTML files or ZIP archives containing static website assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images) and receive a shareable URL to access the hosted content. No account registration is required.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload or host content that:

Is illegal under Swiss law, EU law, or the laws of your jurisdiction
Infringes on intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks, patents)
Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
Is used for phishing, fraud, or social engineering attacks
Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
Promotes violence, terrorism, or hate speech
Contains personal data of third parties without their consent
Is designed to harass, threaten, or harm others
Violates export control laws or sanctions
Is used for spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or deceptive practices

4. Content responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you upload. HostMyPage does not pre-screen uploads and does not claim ownership of your content. By uploading, you represent that you have the right to distribute the content and that it complies with these terms.

5. Content removal

We reserve the right to remove any hosted content at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

Violation of these Terms of Service
Legal requirements or court orders
DMCA or equivalent takedown requests
Reports of abuse or illegal content
Technical or operational reasons

6. No guarantees

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

Continuous, uninterrupted availability of the service
Permanent storage of uploaded content
Any specific uptime or performance level
That the service will meet your requirements
Data backup or recovery

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any content you upload.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HostMyPage and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lars Willrich and HostMyPage from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

9. Intellectual property

The HostMyPage name, logo, and website design are the property of Lars Willrich. You retain all rights to content you upload. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and serve your content for the purpose of providing the hosting service.

10. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and process your data.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the service at any time, without prior notice, for any reason. You may stop using the service at any time.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland.
