HostMyPage ("we", "our", "the service") provides free static website hosting. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights regarding your data. 3. Data we collect

3.1 File uploads

When you upload an HTML file or ZIP archive, we store the file contents on our server to make your website accessible. We do not associate uploads with any personal identity, as no account or login is required.

3.2 Server logs

Our server automatically collects the following technical data for each request:

IP address (anonymized after 7 days)
Date and time of access
Requested URL
HTTP status code
Browser user agent string
Referrer URL

This data is processed based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and stability of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.

3.3 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyze usage of our website. Google Analytics is only activated after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner.

When activated, Google Analytics collects:

Pages visited and interactions
Approximate geographic location (country/city level)
Device and browser information
Referral source

Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your device. The data is transferred to and processed by Google in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
